FREE On-Site Housing
When taking your IDC at Rainbow Reef Instructor Development Center, candidates have the option of either using our first come first served ON SITE apartments or alternatively, economical hotel accommodations.
Yes, these accommodations are FREE to those candidates who lock in their spot

Rainbow Reef has on-site apartments just above the classrooms and pool where we offer shared living accommodations to all of our candidates. Yes, these accommodations are FREE to those candidates who put down a deposit in time to lock in their spot and are on a first come basis.
The apartments are air conditioned and fully furnished with a functional kitchen, washing machine, washer and dryer, full cable, Wi-Fi, towels and linens. Please be sure to understand that the apartments are set up to be much like a Hostel. What does that mean? It means there is no maid service, and you'll have to make your own bed.
Even though you'll be spending lots of time learning, diving, studying and preparing for your Instructor Examination, it can't be ALL WORK AND NO PLAY!
There are cleaning supplies available for you, as we hope you consider this living situation as your home that you will be sharing with others. You will be charged a $40 cleaning fee per 2 week stay just for basic upkeep.
If you would prefer Private Deluxe accommodations there are several Off-Site options that we can arrange for you.

Scuba Apartments #6, #7, #4, #3, & #1
Scuba Apartments feature a full kitchen, 1 or 2 full bathrooms, Comcast Cable TV, Wireless High Speed Internet Access, common areas, central A/C and a washer/dryer. They are set up to offer most of the comforts of home while saving you significantly on your housing costs. This is a great option for saving money, especially if you are staying for a while.
Please be sure to understand that it is set up to be much like a Hostel. What does that mean? It means shared common areas and bathrooms, 1 roomate and there is no maid service, and you'll have to make your own bed!
Scuba Apartments are Free/Included in any IDC package.
If you would prefer Private Deluxe accommodations, there are several Off-Site options that we can arrange for you. If you'd like to stay on-site and save money, the apartments are your best bet. They are located on top of our Retail Center and Training Center facilities.
